Firmly connected to the roots of this profession, Mr Sharender Batra hail from a family of accounting & tax professionals and grew along with appreciating rationale of contemporary legal and regulatory developments in the country. Professionally qualified as CA, CS, LLB and Certification in International Taxation from ICAI New Delhi, Mr Batra gained more than 25 years of experience in entire gamut of Financial Management, Corporate and Managerial Accounting, Taxation, Secretarial, Legal & Regulatory affairs related to Domestic and International business, Internal & Statutory Audits, Governance, Risk, Ethics & Compliance, while working with few of world renowned MNCs such as Honda, JCB, DHV and most reputed big Indian names such as Krishna Maruti Group and Nangia & Company etc.

 

With deep domain expertise, Mr Batra had an excellent track record of converting messy accounting, tax, legal and full of tax disputes setups into a clean and leveled business environment poised for growth in terms of strategic focus and planning, revenue assurance and maximization, cost optimization, wealth and profit maximization, better working capital & cash flow management and overall improvement in organization health chart.
 

He is well exposed to best work practices as prevalent in MNCs of different origins, large Indian corporates and variety of industries and inter connected legal and regulatory provisions under different enactments of country for doing business in India.

During his corporate tenure, he handled settlement of huge amount of international tax and transfer pricing disputes, APA matters, raids and investigations, high value contract negotiations, technical collaborations, cross border transactions, infusion of private equity, due diligence, review of term sheets, share subscription agreement and related interaction and liaison with foreign partners, expatriates, represented before Tax office, Courts, DGFT, Ministries, State level high powered committees in relation of obtaining grant, exemptions and specific orders and approvals. He was also part of important committees such as Audit Committee, Procurement Committee, Tender Board, Administrative reforms committee, etc and supported management in crucial HR matters such as wage settlement agreement, retirement benefits policies, employments contracts, mutual confidentiality and non disclosure agreements and other HR and admin matters.

 

Mr. Batra strongly believes that knowledge when consumed or spent it increases and when shared with other it expands. With intention to share his wide spread knowledge and experience in entire domain of finance and commercial, he founded “Finaccle Club” in Year 2008. He has been TV Panelist for the post Budget, live Q&A sessions on tax matters. He has also conducted several training session for senior officers of State Bank of India at SBI Training Academy Gurgaon on Balance Sheet analysis, Ind As, Business models etc  and for General Manager -DIC (Haryana) at Haryana Institute of Public Administration on important business topics.

 

Having passed LLB in 1996, CA in 1998, Certification in International Taxation in 2010 and Company Secretaryship in 2013, Mr Batra later gained interest in ancient Indian Vedic Wisdom. He has done deep reading of various commentaries on Srimad Bhagvad Gita and is well versed with Srimad Bhagvatam, Upnaishads and several other Indian Vedic Texts. He  also qualified as Bhakti Shastri in Year 2017 from world renowned Mayapur Institute,  based at Mayapur West Bengal (India) During uncertain times around covid 2nd wave, Mr Batra started online Gita Course to share treasure of this knowledge and application of same in today’s modern context specifically customized to suit requirement of professionals, entrepreneurs, students etc.   Program is still continued and deeply appreciated by all participants.
